











Students of Spring Dales English School, Kathua, made a remarkable impression at the National Startup Festival 2025, held at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The event, which brought together young innovators, industry experts, and scientists, provided a prestigious platform for budding entrepreneurs to present their groundbreaking ideas.
A team of six students—Yashodhan Verma, Vidhan Sharma, Bharghav, Sachi Sharma, Sadhya Sambyal, and Sankarshan Mahajan—represented Spring Dales with innovative projects aimed at solving real-world problems. Their participation was further highlighted by an interactive session with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology.
The young innovators presented a diverse range of projects, each designed to address a key challenge in modern society. Yashodhan Verma’s State Locator, selected among the Top 10 Toys at Toycathon 2024, is a digital tool that enhances geographical learning by helping users locate Indian states with precision. Vidhan Sharma’s Zap Shoe, showcased at Technofest 2025 in Burhanpur, MP, is an advanced footwear concept integrating technology for enhanced comfort and user experience. Bharghav’s Medication Reminder, presented at Pragaash 2025 by UNICEF and AIM, is a smart system designed to help individuals, especially senior citizens and patients, keep track of their medication schedules. Sankarshan Mahajan’s Parking Slot System is a digital solution aimed at improving parking management and reducing urban congestion. Meanwhile, Sachi Sharma and Sadhya Sambyal’s Aquafina: The Clearance of Water, selected as a Zonal Finalist at IIT Delhi, is an innovative water purification system focused on providing clean and safe drinking water.
Speaking on this achievement, Prof. R.K. Gupta, Director of Spring Dales English School, expressed immense pride in the students’ dedication and talent. “Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship at a young age is essential.
