In a grand celebration of academic excellence, Springdales English School, Changran, in collaboration with Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar hosted the City Topper Awards Ceremony today to honour the outstanding performance of Class 12 students from across the region.
The event witnessed participation from toppers of more than 50 schools in and around Kathua, along with proud parents, teachers, and dignitaries from the education sector. Around 300 students registered for the event. The Chief Guest, Shri Mangat Ram Sharma, CEO Kathua, praised the dedication and hard work of the students and encouraged them to aim high in their future careers. He further announced 100% scholarship to top 3 students of the district for pursuing any course at Amritsar Group of Colleges. Also, students who scored 90 % and above were given 30 % scholarship, 80% and above were given 20% scholarship and 70% and above were given 10% scholarship for the IDegree -an online degree program offered by Woosong University, South Korea. Dr. Dipti Malhotra, Dean Campus Relations, Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar inspired students and motivated them to pursue careers after proper career guidance from experts. Another highlight of the event was the psychometric testing for career guidance held by Career expert Mr. Arvind Mahajan at the Atal Tinkering Lab of the School.
Prof. R.K. Gupta, Director Springdales expressed his pride in the achievements of the students, saying, “These young minds are the future of our nation. Their hard work and determination deserve to be celebrated and supported.” The ceremony also witnessed felicitation of inspiring teachers and concluded with a message of hope and ambition, inspiring students to pursue excellence in their chosen fields.
