





Spring Dales English School, Changran, Kathua hosted a guest lecture on “Careers in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector”, offering students valuable insights into one of the world’s most dynamic industries.
The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including:

- Mr. Riyaz Ahmad, Lecturer & Academic Coordinator
Addressing students from Classes 8th to 12th, the experts highlighted diverse career opportunities in hospitality and tourism, emphasizing the importance of passion-driven choices. The interactive session covered key aspects such as hospitality dynamics, global tourism prospects, and industry advancements.
Adding to the vibrancy of the event, 31 students along with Prof. Romika Bassin from Government Degree College for Women, Kathua participated, promoting collaborative learning. The students also visited the Atal Tinkering Lab of the school under the MoU signed between the school and GDCW, Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director, Prof. R.K. Gupta of the school remarked, “Such events are vital in broadening students’ horizons, equipping them with knowledge, and motivating them to excel in unconventional career paths.”
The session concluded with the iconic 3 Idiots quote, “Kabil bano, kamyabi toh jhak maarke peeche aayegi,” inspiring students to pursue excellence.
Mr. Jyoti Bhatti appreciated the wonderful STEM projects built by the students in Atal Tinkering Lab and applauded the efforts of the school in making the event a resounding success.
