Abhay Partap Singh, a Class III student of Spring Dales English School, Changran, Kathua, has brought immense pride to his school and district by securing selection in the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Sub-Junior Taekwondo Team (Kyorugi – Boys) for the 2025–26 session.

The selection was finalized during the J&K UT Sub-Junior Taekwondo Selection Trials 2025–26, organized by the J&K Taekwondo Association under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council. The trials were held on 24th December 2025 at the JKSC Taekwondo Training Centre, M.A. Stadium, Jammu.

Representing District Kathua, Abhay impressed the selection committee with his exceptional skills, discipline, and determination, earning a well-deserved place in the final team.

He will now represent the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory at the 39th National Sub-Junior Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship and the 14th National Sub-Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championship, at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
