Educational-cum-excursion trip was organised for the Class 12th EVS students to Mansar. The main objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand information about the rich flora and fauna diversity of the Mansar region. Students explored the natural surroundings, observed various plant and animal species, and understood the ecological importance of the lake ecosystem.
The trip also included a visit to Chichi Mata Temple, where students learned about the waste disposal and management practices followed in and around the shrine area. They observed how proper waste segregation, cleanliness drives, and responsible visitor behaviour help maintain the sanctity and environment of the place.
Overall, the trip proved to be a great learning experience, combining classroom knowledge with real-life observation. It enhanced the students’ understanding of biodiversity conservation and environmental management while giving them an enjoyable and memorable exposure outside the classroom.
