Day 2 of the IIT Jammu visit under PRAGYAAN 2026 was a powerful blend of achievement, insight, and experiential learning.
STEAM Hackathon Achievements
1st Prize (₹15,000): Vidhan & Riyansh for their innovative project “Zap Shoe” amongst 28 teams across J&K demonstrating creativity and real-world problem solving. In the past Zap shoe was exhibited at Pragash 2025 at Jammu by Unicef and at Srinagar conducted by Niti Aayog, National Startup Festival by CSIR IIIM, Pragyaan 2025 at IIT, IIIM Jammu and Technofest 2025. The zap shoe team will now be mentored by IIT Jammu for a year. 2nd Prize went to Jodhamal School, Jammu(Photos of both teams together)
