
Spring Dales English School, Kathua, held its Grand Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and pride. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Surinder Kumar Atri, Principal of Government Medical College, Kathua, and Guest of Honour Lieutenant Commander Kanav Mahajan of the Indian Navy, a distinguished alumnus of the school from the Batch of 2014.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana presented by Ananya, Ayushi, and Nandini of Class 6.
The highlight of the event was the formal investiture of the new Student Council, where the young leaders received their badges and sashes. The newly appointed council is led by Head Boy Vishav and Head Girl Naina, assisted by Vice Head Boy Sankarshan and Vice Head Girl Vani. Other key appointments include Sports Captain Aarush, Cultural Captain Shreya, Music Captain Rizwan, Arts Captain Yashodhan, and ATL Captain Bhargav.

Shaurya House: Captain Alyssa and Vice-Captain Anandita
Maurya House: Captain Dhriti and Vice-Captain Lakshya
Surya House: Captain Mehek and Vice-Captain Hitesh
Kavya House: Captain Manish and Vice-Captain Sadhvi
Chief Guest Dr. Atri in his address inspired the students to uphold values of discipline and excellence. Lt. Cdr. Kanav Mahajan, sharing his journey from the same school to the Indian Navy, said, “My journey started in these very classrooms. The discipline and values I learned here were my foundation. Believe in your dreams, work hard, and never forget the lessons you learn at school.”
